Grand Hotel Amrath

5 Star hotel in the centre of Amsterdam

Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is located in Het Scheepvaarthuis (The Shipping House) on Prins Hendrikkade in Amsterdam. Built by the architectural cooperative Van der Mey, De Klerk and Kramer from 1912-1916, this monument is considered to be the first building fully constructed in the Amsterdam School style.
The atmosphere and ambiance of the 173 rooms, of which 32 suites, are classic and luxurious. Decorated by a leading interior designer in Art Nouveau style with warm colours and supremely comfortable they assure guests a truly memorable stay.
All rooms offer a direct telephone line, fax, free WiFi, radio, TV, trouser press, laptop safe, coffee & tea facilities, minibar (free use), writing desk, reading chair and a controllable heating cooling system. The well-equipped contemporary bathrooms offer a bathtub and/or luxury shower, (separate) toilet, shaving mirror, hair dryer and luxurious bathrobes and slippers. The à la carte restaurant of Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dishes and menus can be prepared entirely according to your wishes.
For special occasions, business dinners and personal moments the hotel offers a private dining room.
The lounge/bar is an ideal place for an informal get-together with drinks and a light meal or for a relaxing evening after a busy day.
Meet people in a world of luxury and art in which the original character of the building has been preserved.
